Our 17 rod has a line rating of 50lb to 100lb. Available in 7ft and 8ft. It is one step heavier than our 16 and is primarily used for catching larger sharks and for deep water bottom fishing. This is a great rod for hand cranking Warsaw Grouper or for stand up electric reel fishing. It is popular among commercial fisherman of Florida.
