The Living Color Squid is an all-purpose squid pattern made of the supple, yet stiff Holo-Fusion synthetic blends with a touch of crinkle flash. The translucent properties of the synthetic fiber along with the touch of flash really give this fly an edge and match these mollusks in the water very well. It also is tied with long hackle in the flat-wing style popular in the Northeast and a braided mylar head to simulate the arms/tentacles and the mantel well. All tied on a stout stainless steel Gamakatsu hook. This fly is a killer squid pattern from coast to coast. Wither you are changing stripers in the vineyard or Tuna off the Pacific Coast, this is the pattern to use!
