This tool is very helpful on a fly tyers bench. Within the handle of the tool is a slot that allows the handle to be used as a hair packer. The top of the tool has a ball-bearing loaded spinning head that accepts 3 different interchangeable heads. The Shepard’s crook shape head is ideal for making tight dubbing loops for small flies. The V wire form is excellent for trout flies of all sizes, and the bent wire shape is best for loop dubbing large amounts of dubbing when tying large stonefly nymphs or streamers.
